ADCNR-MRD Fisheries Assessment and Monitoring Program (FAMP) Datasets (1981-present)

Dataset extent

Data about marine fauna captured in Alabama coastal waters by otter trawl, seine, and beam plankton trawl since 1981. Fauna include molluscs, crustaceans, echinoderms, elasmobranchs, actinopterygian fishes, and scyphozoans. Captured specimens are identified to species (or lowest taxon possible), enumerated, and measured for length and weight. The dataset also includes water temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen measured during sample collection.
