- From June-October, 2007, time series data were collected from three stationary moorings in Mobile Bay, Alabama. The three stations were at Denton Reef, a point 10.6 km north of Denton Reef, and a point 10.6 km south of Denton Reef. The data collected include conductivity, temperature, pressure, and dissolved oxygen (DO) at the bottom for each station, and mid-depth and surface for Denton Reef. Vertical profiles of conductivity, temperature, and DO were also obtained from 24 sampling sites in six east-west transects across the study area. From these measurements, other parameters were derived, including total depth, salinity, and saturation DO concentration.

- Moored instruments to collect time-series data were cleaned, recalibrated, and given new batteries on a weekly basis. Servicing was handled so that the bottom instrument at Denton Reef had no data gaps. All other moored instruments have at least 13 days of data gaps.

- Time-series conductivity, temperature, pressure, and optical DO were taken at 0.3 m above the bottom at three stations, and also 1.6 m (mid-depth, near the pycnocline) and 2.8 m (surface) at the Denton Reef station, from 20070622 to 20071003. Data are in 20 minute increments, with each value representing an average of continuous measurements over 5 minutes at a sampling frequency of 2 Hz.

- Vertical profiles of conductivity, temperature, and DO were collected from 24 sampling sites in six east-west transects on 20070629, 20070705, 20070719, 20070814, 20070827, and 20070924, using an SBE25. Conductivity and temperature were collected on the downcast, and discrete DO data were collected at approximately 0.5 m intervals on the upcast. Vertical profiles were timed to collect all data during slack before ebb at each station.
